Look like were off on a bad foot

Well, I have a question .. where is this so called new committee who is suppose to be watching over Miller and the others and working for the students and teachers best interest ? If anything like today is an example of that , your failing miserably . These kids are very upset and feel they have lost  what little was left of there school.

From what we have been able to find out :
1- Someone reported drugs being sold in our school and it involved 4 students .
2- 3 were suspended .Not sure if it was because drugs were found or what the reason was checking into that . Will update when we know .
3- We are having people check now as to what was and wasn't legally done in these searches .We know lockers, and backpacks IF in lockers and desks are searchable, however the cars and a backpack carried with you is considered personal .
4- Threatening and ultimatums are also NOT acceptable, nor scare tactics.

What happen today at PVRS and how it was handled was totally outta line  and unacceptable. A whole school was disrupted and the kids felt scared and unsafe by the people we trust to protect them . . Parents should be outraged  that this is happening to our school  and to our children .

If drugs are in our school , than handle it properly and bring the kids in. How you handled this today was deplorable and highly unprofessional. Kids were calling there parents at work and home scared and not wanting to be in school . These children are in this school to learn and be taught , not be terrorized and fearful to even go to the damn bathroom. The kids are saying it has turned into a prison and the Principal is borderline psycho.

So please new school committee tell us how your gonna fix this fine mess? Templeton warned us and nobody listened that should of . We have a School Committee with its head buried in the sand and our school once loved and honored is now a place of dread. Great job!

Lets also add these  few goodies to the pot
1- Kids need a hall pass now, 2 people cannot go to the bathroom at the same time.
(nothing like turning back the clock and  going back to elementary school)

2- Not allowed to leave study hall to get extra help , unless of course you have a pass.

3-No longer are couches allowed in senior lounge, like one girl said -" there afraid we might have sex". I am sorry but think about it for just a minute , can you even imagine Mike Duprey humiliating or degrading these kids in this way? No you wouldn't .

4 - Boys are being followed into the bathrooms by Resource officer and Girls by a  HR person.

Seriously I have to ask where are these peoples minds at ? Miller and Bacon are not  PVRS material and they must go.Bacon  showed beyond a doubt today she is not ready to be a principal nor is she capable to handle it .  Poor leadership and judgement calls are not acceptable nor to be tolerated. Today this blog blew up with over 427 people on  site  between 2-5 this afternoon.  This is no longer about new management , its about poor leadership.

  1. In the past this was handled in ways that nobody was aware except those involved. The school went on with its day no one the wiser . Now we have this . I for one am not happy my child was subjected to this , anymore than I am happy how this school is now being run.

    1. Yeah why is this info public knowledge anyways. If someone was in trouble it wasn't plastered around the school!

  2. I completely agree. I don't like having my child come home upset because of what happened and it had nothing to do with her. it's uncalled for and things need to be handled in a different way. I'm sorry, but if the school had a huge drug or violence issue I would understand the Resource Officer, or whatever they're calling him, but it's a small school with basically good kids. He's not necessary, he's just making the kids uncomfortable and making them worry something will happen to them next.

  3. Its seems that children were suspended for :
one had cigarettes and a knife in the car (not in school)
one had lighters in his car
one pipe was found but no drugs in his car
one had a vape that belonged to his mother in the car
2 others were searched and nothing found.

All inside of personal property . None inside the school.
I am concerned about the bathroom situation as well, and kids being followed inside.
My question too is where is this so called new committee? They seem as useless as the SC at this point. I also think its time we show up to these SC committee meetings and demand something be done. This is very poor leadership of a school.
    Resource officer needs to go.

    1. Yes. True. And yes where's the committee when we need them! So first checking cars. I assume lockers are next. Then drug tests and sports will be taken away. Good players too. The crazy thing is it is the students property. I mean a lightbulb could even be a weapon. I hope my child brings home a new handbook soon! With legit rules of what they expect!

  4. This fiasco verifies, What an INTELLIGENT, NON- COMBATIVE, Administrative Team that PVRS had in past years. They knew how to respectfully handle these situations. We miss You!!!!

    1. Totally agree. All I have seen from all of this is poor leadership and poor guidance by a Principal put in a position she clearly is not ready for .

  5. Thanks for all your info. Been following this blog from day one. I think Jenn is doing an ok job, but this drug thing is nuts. Since when are people bringing drugs to school?! I hope it's only like cigs nothing like cocakns or marajuana! Either way, it needs stop and this bullying must stop too. People are being physically and emotionally harmed and it's not right. School should be closed until these problems are gone. Thanks again for all your info. Saw on FBI someone started another blog?!

  6. Yes I'm curious about VP too. Things are nuts. I know someone who got searched on the caf (they were a minority). I know my kids say dupe would sometimes go in to the bathroom, but it was only if it was loud and it was like quick in quick out. But now they are being watched. Someone should speak up tomorrow night!!

    1. The kids seem to like and respect her , but she seems powerless. I like to know who the minority is who got searched , cause if its a child of someone I know the shit will hit the fan heavy and hard .

    2. Don't know who it was. Heard through the grapevine. I bet those are the ones being watched closely...

    3. Don't think it was VP though. I think it was the resource officer.

    4. My kids says that theys likes the VP and think it's cool to get to call her Jenn, and is all about accepting all for their indivuality and differences...That's a plus. I wish I knew who the minority was that got searched and by who, but it definitely wasn't Jenn!! but I think I saw something about it online and wouldn't be surprised if it was the RO that did it. Who knows if all this is even true anyways. This all seems a little far fetched. Especially for a teeny school in northfield one of the safest places...this whole thing is a disaster did you know Leyden school got redone and in Bernardston kids can't use ketchup bottles by thenselves!!??

  7. Just a FYI.. The school has every right to do a search of kids personal belongings. Cars, backpacks, ect.. if there is probable cause.. so obviously there Must have been for them to search. Also, your kids should not be ""scared" of there NOT involved.

    1. They need probable cause. Obviously your from the ADMIN trying to make excuses for your misdeeds . These kids are not scared because of this , its because your administration has turned a beloved school into a damn prison camp.

    2. Actually Micheal, I am a parent. I am not part of the administration. I however work in a school and know what the laws are.

  8. How'd this (drug news) even come out? I thought pioneer was awesome and one of the top schools! Did someone say to the principal as a joke or was it real?

    1. They are treating our school like an intercity school and have no idea what they are doing . This Principal is taking her orders from Miller . She is not ready to be a principal anymore than Miller should be a Superintendent . Bacon is Millers puppet which is why she was hired to take the hits like Shawn Rickan took the hits for Millers disgraceful acts in Templeton . Wehrli nor Duprey would of allowed this .We never heard or saw this behavior in the past due to it was done behind closed doors and wasn't a showcase performance like this was .

    1. Cigarettes, lighters, vape ( belonging to a parent who let the child use the car) empty pot pipe and one small knife , ALL in cars. NOTHING INSIDE THE SCHOOL

    2. So if if it is in cars, then it's your business? Lighters are built into cars for heavens sake!!! TDon't they know someone could even use a pencil as a weapon. Why don't we confiscate those too!!!??? This is bull!!!

    3. No Heroine , no drugs

    4. Well that's good to hear that there is not heroin...yet. But I heard that there is marijuana, cigs, vapes, lighters, knives, and cocaine.

    5. And alcohol. This school is not safe for children. We should boycott:
      Til drugs are gone
Till ruthless and baconator are gone and resource officer.
Till wherli and dupe are back
      Till resource officer is gone
To drugs and gangs are gone and weapons.
      Till no child is bullied.
And more and more and more.

  10. EXCUSE ME? The only idiot here would be you with your degrading comments. No one is angry about the consequences were angry about how it was handled . If you were to read you would of seen that and FYI no drugs were found. The kids at PVRS are good kids who were taught by good people to honor and respect others and there school. Where do you get off bashing everyone like this and saying such disrespectful things about the children? What is wrong with you? Seems your generation skipped respect skills.I would take everyone of these kids over one of you anytime.

    4. Ironically when dupe was in office I told him she had a problem with boys bullying her and he said he took care of it but they just kept going on. Now she's a mess. In therapy. It's awful.

    5. She is smaller than kids her age and doesn't always understand people right. She had some birth defects... people don't always treat her fairly. As a parent I hate to see her suffer... She has a few close friends but she is extremely careful who she talks to.

    6. I don't want to say much about her to keep her situation private but she is in high school not middle school. It's traumatizing for her.

    7. Please tell her to go to a Tab person or Charlie as stated above.

  12. This is beyond disgusting. Even though we are upset I think the way we'd go through this is to go calmly and quietly and just find out...be firm but nice. We are approaching it all wrong. I mean just think the holidays are soon. Do we want to ruin a cheerful time. This is all just to stressful and I'm tired of it!!

    1. Seems it is what this new Administration does best . Last year we lost our Principal of 8 years because he refused to bow down to her demands which were off the wall. What will make this year different so far were off on a running start .

  13. Yeah Facebook says we are the pioneer potheads. It doesn't make sense why no one did drugs at pioneer till last week! Amiright? I mean seriously in just a day we are greenfield. I bet people decided to take up drugs in protest of ruthless!! I never knew a kid that did drugs and if I caught my kid doing drugs I'd send them to school in Afghanistan.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I mean I sent my kid to tech but I pulled them out after a while because someone was selling drugs and there was four drug busts in a week. Some one was even smoking marijuana in the locker room. That would never happen at pioneer. Until now. I'm very upset with these children. Bacon and ruthless this is bull.

    1. The kids have been disrespected. They feel everything they have stood for has been taken away . PVRS prided itself on honor , respect and TRUST. This Administration comes in and destroys all they were taught and believed in , what do you expect in return? This school is no longer built on what it was .

  18. WAKE UP PARENTS! POT & ALCOHOL are in every school doesn't matter the size! Pioneer has had these issues for years and searches of backpacks, lockers, and cars are not new... my own kid was searched by Mr Duprey but nothing was found but that was my child's lucky day! I heard about it because EVERYONE but me knew! I then pulled my head out of the sand and realized my child was quite the partY animal and yes did lie, drink and smoke weed before school, after school, and during senior privileges, before sports practice, after games, before team dinners, etc and guess what not alone! Many friends and teammates were right there also! Moral of the story is no matter how good your child is, how good of an athlete he/she is they are still growing up and will make bad choices as a parent it is your job to help them learn from mistakes and stop making excuses and stop blaming others! Kids do not always tell the truth
